Di mis primeros pasos en la caza profesional mucho antes de poder registrarme legalmente. Con tan solo 18 años, completé mi curso de Cazador Profesional, patrocinado por dos conservacionistas legendarios —Linda Venter, de SCI, y David Sutherland—, quienes vieron en mí algo que aún no había demostrado.
Comencé mi aprendizaje bajo la tutela de Jannie Otto, uno de los pioneros más respetados de Sudáfrica en la industria de los safaris. Trabajando con su equipo, me formé rastreando kudús en la sabana espinosa y cazando búfalos, y aprendiendo el oficio a base de esfuerzo, ascendiendo desde desollador mucho antes de que me permitieran cazar o guiar hasta convertirme en un auténtico cazador, día tras día, en la sabana.

Our Story
Sampie Potgieter grew up on a farm in the north west province of South Africa. His school holidays was spent with a fishing rod in one hand and his trusty .22 Win Mag in the other where he and the local folk spent their days hunting fishing from dusk to dawn. This is where his passion , love and goal to own and operate his own hunting company was born. After graduating from high school he started his apprenticeship as professional hunter under the watchful eye of one of the oldest hunting companies in SA a protégé from a magnificent company and individual he strived to become the new generation of of young professionals in the field to protect and conserve our wildlife. Sampie met his wife during his apprentice years in the Northern Cape region while hunting in the area. Now the proud owner of a hunting company hunting in Botswana, South Africa and Namibia his wife handles all admin, and bookings while Sampie hunts and manages all other related aspects.
